Title:For Want of an Umbrella
Pair:minjoon
Rating:PG
Disclaimer:I don't own them, sadly enough...;A;
Summary:JungMin wants an umbrella, but HyungJoon doesn't want to give him one...

For [livejournal.com profile] xoriginalgirlx who missed minjoon. Luckily I am stuck in everything and was able to write this cracked out ficlet for her~~ Her prompt was 'umbrella', and this was the first thing that came to mind.

"No."

"But-"

"Not a chance in hell, JungMin, and don't even think for a minute that that pout of yours is going to change my mind, because it's not," HyungJoon stated. He mentally fived himself when JungMin began sulking.

"Well why not? It's pouring outside and I have cabin fever," JungMin whined, literally rolling back and forth on the floor of HyungJoon's living room, Choco staring at him cutely from her plush dog bed. "Joonie yah, I wanna take a walk, so why won't you let me?"

"I'm not stopping you, Minnie Hyung," the younger said with a shrug as he channel surfed, watching JungMin from the corner of his eye.

"Then let me borrow your umbrella," he tried again.

"When Hell freezes over," he replied, finally shutting the television off and turning to look at his groupmate. Upon seeing JungMin sprawled out on the ground spread eagle looking like he had given up on living, HyungJoon finally lost it, nearly falling out of his chair laughing.

JungMin simply rolled his eyes at the maknae before returning to his overdramatics. "Seriously, Joonie. Why won't you lend me an umbrella? Be more courteous to your hyung, dammit."

"Two words for you," he began when he was finally able to control himself. "Idol. World."

Blinking at HyungJoon's excuse, JungMin flailed his arms and legs around before finally managing to fling himself into a seated position. "You can't be serious. That was years ago!"

HyungJoon crossed his arms in front of him. "Doesn't matter. You still ruined my favorite umbrella."

"I did not! It was the wind's fault. I am innocent. Blame Mother Nature," he argued.

HyungJoon had to bite the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing at the stunned look on JungMin's face. This was too much fun. After all the time they'd known each other, they had made picking on each other a practical art form.

The two remained as they were for a bit longer before JungMin let out a huff and glared at HyungJoon. "I'm bored. Since you won't give me your umbrella and I don't want to drown myself in the downpour without one, you have to entertain me," he decided with a firm nod.

That got HyungJoon's attention. "I do, do I? And how should I do that?" he asked, already knowing what JungMin was talking about. After all, their arguments always ended the same.

Without waiting for an answer, HyungJoon got to his feet and padded over to where the older singer was sitting and crouched down before him. He pushed him back down, hand remaining on his chest as the maknae sat on JungMin's thighs. Leaning down, he folded his arms and rested them lightly against the elder's chest.

"Is this what you had in mind, Min?" he asked, smirk well in place.

JungMin found himself returning the smirk as his hands settled on HungJoon's hips. "Well it would be if you weren't so damned far away and wearing so many layers," he grumbled.

"Look who's talking about layers, moron," HyungJoon returned before pausing to smile deviously when he heard the thunder echo through his house.

"Betchya I can make you drown out the thunder," he challenged before closing the distance between them, intent on proving himself right; something JungMin had absolutely no problems with.
