Title:Two Days With The Domestically Challenged
Pairing:Hanchul, plus ninja yehyuk(couldn't resist it...)
Rating:PG
Warning:Ummm...Heechul fending for himself...?
Summary:Even the most patient of people has a limit...
Disclaimer:...if I did, I would TOTALLY charge admission to Heechul doing half the things he does in this fic...

This is my birthday present for my yedongsaeng Kit Kat!!!...or my Dongsaeng Henry...hehehehe...depending on whether or not I'm rping at the moment...hehehehe...I hope you enjoy this, since it's my first ever hanchul, as well as my first time writing Heechul as a main...hehehehe

He was well known for his calm and gentle nature.

"Hannie, can you grab me a drink while you're in there?"

He was always able to stay calm in any given situation.

    "Hannie?"

He was said to have the patience of a saint.

    "Did you hear me?"

    Nothing affected him.

    "Hankyung!"

...but even he had his limits.

The loud slam of the pan startled Yesung and Eunhyuk, who had been too preoccupied with each other to notice the elder man's presence.

"Um, Hyung...?" Yesung tried as Eunhyuk placed a hand over his chest and tried to calm his racing heartbeat.  "Are you okay?"

Hankyung wasn't given the chance to answer, as Heechul had apparently grown tired of yelling and opted for the direct approach.

"Didn't you hear me, Hannie?" Heechul asked, hip jutted out and hands on his narrow hips.

    "I heard you."

"Then why didn't you answer me?  I mean, it's only common courtesy."

Something lit in Hankyung's eyes that had Yesung gulping as he grabbed Eunhyuk's hand and slowly backed them out of the kitchen, Eunhyuk arguing the whole way.

"Courtesy?" the Chinese singer asked.  "I'm in here cooking for you like I do everyday.  Just a couple hours ago, I had done your laundry.  Last night, I was your chauffer.  Oh, and last week, I was even your bodyguard, and I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna have a scar from where that girl clawed my arm."  Turning completely, Hankyung turned his full attention to Heechul, annoyance clear in his eyes.  "I do more for you than I do for myself, so don't you even try to talk about courtesy with me.  I doubt you could last two days without me at your beck and call."

The redhead stared at him for a moment before tilting his head in confusion.  "You do realize that I don't speak Chinese, right?"

He blinked as he realized that he had been so aggravated that he'd unknowingly slipped into his mother language.  Sighing, Hankyung started walking out of the room, but stopped in the doorway.  "Shortened version?  I'm not your slave.  Do it yourself."  That said, he walked out, leaving the for once speechless princess behind.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Within the hour, everyone knew...Heechul was to fend for himself, without Hankyung's help.  While the 'strike' startled some, like Leeteuk and Siwon, others such as Kangin, Eunhyuk, and Yesung were highly amused.

"About time, if you ask me, Hyung," Kangin had laughed as soon as he'd heard.

"Hey, Sung, wanna go out to eat?" Eunhyuk asked his lover once he's heard that Heechul was going to cook dinner.

"Traitors, the lot of you!" Heechul shouted as he stormed into the kitchen.

Hankyung simply turned the page of his book, smirk hidden by the pages.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hannie, you have to stop him," Leeteuk begged that night.  "I think he's trying to kill us."

    "Worse than you?"

"Yes!!  I may suck, but Heechul's a menace to society!!!  His cooking could be classified as a weapon of mass destruction!"

"It can't be that bad, Teukkie."

Pursing his lips, he shoved the plate he'd carried in right in his face.  "I knew you'd say that, so here's the proof.  Try it."

"What is it?" the Chinese man asked, looking at the black and brown gelatinous blob on the plate in front of him.

"I have no idea, but I can assure you that he went in there trying to make miyeok guk..."

"...but miyeok guk is soup."  He poked at the item on the plate.  "It shouldn't be solid."

"It is...I just burn.  He decimates."

Hankyung sighed, handing him the dish.  "Did anyone eat it?"

"Are you crazy?!" the leader cried.  "We don't have death wishes, you know!"

"Give me ten minutes, and I'll make something."

"I'll do it, Hannie Hyung!" Ryeowook chirped from the doorway.  "You cook almost every night!  Let me."

"You sure?"  He nodded happily before running out of the room and into the kitchen, herding the others out.

As Heechul walked out, the 'I told you so' forming on his lips fell at the crestfallen expression that the older singer was trying to hide.  Rising from the couch that he was curled up on, he walked over to Heechul and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"How about cooking lessons later on this week?" he asked, smiling reassuringly.

Heechul's lips curled into an ever so slight smile.  "Yeah.  Good plan."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hankyung walked out of his room to see Donghae and Eunhyuk carrying laundry bags toward the door, beanies and sunglasses in place.

    "Where are you two going?"

    "DBSK dorms," the pair stated.

"Why?  We have a perfectly good washer and dryer here."

    "Had," Donghae corrected.

    "Had?"

    "Had," Eunhyuk confirmed.

    "Heechul?"

    "Heechul."

He sighed.  "See you in a bit."

Once the door closed, Hankyung went in search of Heechul, planning on showing him the ins and outs of working a washer and dryer...well, once he figured out what was wrong with theirs, of course...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    "Ahhhhhhhhhh-CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The dancer jumped, startled from his light nap.  Blinking the sleep from his eyes, he found the cause of the sound.  Heechul had apparently decided to give cleaning a try.  The only problem was, he must have switched the vacuum cleaner into reverse for a moment, because the redhead was standing, waving his hands frantically in front of him, where he was being attacked by a giant cloud of dirt.

"You turned it on reverse, Rella."

"No shit, Sherlock," he choked.  Giving the evil machine a swift kick, Heechul stomped over to the couch and plopped down in a huff, dust flying off his body at the force.  "I'm completely domestically retarded," the older man sulked.

"It's fine, Chullie," Hankyung said, placing an arm around the slighter man's shoulders.

The two sat there for a few until Heechul spoke up.  "I'm sorry, Hannie."

    "For what?"

"For ordering you around so much.  I don't know how you do it."

"Well, it's never too late to learn, if you're up for it."

After a moment, Heechul leaned into the embrace, placing his head on the other's shoulder.  "In a bit."

    "Yeah.  It can wait."
