Setting Up Camp...hehe

So yeah...those of you from the family(we sound like the friggin' mafia...)may know already, but I did something to my knee, and, at Henli and Hae's urgings, have finally seen the doctor, since I did it like, 5 days ago...hehe

He said something about fluid, the tendons, x-rays, NO surgery, MRIs, physical therapy, and me seeing an orthopedist...

So..I have to stay off my feet for 3 days...he said I can't sit on the comp the whole time, since he want's my leg elevated enough for the fluid to drain, so I have made camp on the floor...my monitor is on the comp chair, the mouse is on a shoebox, and the keyboard on a lapdesk...my leg is elevated on an inflatable chair...

It's quite funny, actually...

I tend to injure myself a lot, so I don't immediately get it taken care of. Thing is, the knee was worse that I thought, I guess, since I had to make an appt with a specialist yesterday.(it's for April 17, so if you have a fic for me to beta, I'd suggest sending it before, or after that date...hehehehe)

my 3 days is officially over, and I can return my computer to the desk tom...er...today...hehe

I plan to get a new one VERY soon, using tax money and my mom's going halves with me...

I meant WORKERS comp time, for the injury.

I didn't do it at work...but insurance will cover a good chunk of it, luckily

Ah. You still HAVE the insurance? Lucky. My health care has been "don't get sick / don't get hurt" since like 2005. Ever since they jacked the price up and cut the coverage for chiropractic.

Where I work now, the cost for the insurance is a third of my take-home, which rules it right out.

Ah I'm sorry Carey. You always comment on all my posts and yet I've been doing such a bad job of commenting on all of your entries. I never even knew you hurt your knee T_____T I really need to go online more often.

I'm glad you actually went to the doctors though, sometimes it may not seem like a big thing, but it can hurt a lot after if you don't see the doctors. But you did which is a good thing, I would fly away to America to kick you butt to the doctors if you didn't ^-^ ::hugs::
